DAY 1 - Sunday 6 September
WELCOME TO DENMARK
Imagine five unforgettable days the rhythm your engines carry you through some of Scandinavia’s most enchanting landscapes.
Our journey begins in Aarhus, Denmark’s vibrant second city — where youthful energy, royal history, and cutting-edge cuisine blend seamlessly. On our third day, the convoy heads south across the island of Funen toward Kerteminde, a picturesque seaside town where time slows and the sea breeze carries the scent of salt and wildflowers, where we will spend our last two nights.
You will enjoy Denmark's roads: smooth, gently curving routes tracing the coastline and weaving through rolling farmland and ancient forests.
From the “New Nordic” Aarhus to the tranquil shores of Kerteminde, you’ll experience Denmark at its most refined, scenic, and delicious — a perfect stage for the timeless elegance of classic motoring.
Royal Hotel
Stepping into Hotel Royal feels like crossing a threshold into Aarhus’s historic soul — a place where stories of royalty, artists, and travelers have intertwined for nearly two centuries.
Founded in 1838, this grand establishment is one of Denmark’s oldest and most prestigious hotels, with a legacy as rich as its refined architectural details.
Located right on Store Torv Square, with the majestic Aarhus Cathedral looming just across the street, the hotel anchors "Indre By’s" (City Center) cultural heartbeat. Its neoclassical façade — with intricate detailing and noble proportions — evokes a sense of dignified grandeur before you even enter.
Welcome cocktail at 18.30 and afterwards dinner at the Bavn Restaurant in Aahrus.

DAY 2 - Monday 7 September
Stage 1, THE CENTRAL JUTLAND
(about 230 km, 4 hours and 15 min drive)
On the first day, we will tour along the roads of the Central Denmark Region, gentle and flowing, surrounded by rolling fields and perfectly kept farms.
As you arrive at Mønsted Kalkgruber, the landscape shifts: green hills hide the largest limestone mine complex in the world.
Then you head toward Silkeborg, to have lunch at Gubsø Garage, hosted by Marc Vogel, an enthusiast car collector.
After lunch we drive back to Aahrus, passing by the largest lake district of Denmark.
Dinner at the starred Michelin restaurant "Domestic".
Mønsted Kalkgruber
Arriving at Mønsted Kalkgruber feels almost understated. From the outside, you see gentle green hills and a peaceful rural landscape near Viborg. It’s hard to imagine that beneath your feet lies the largest limestone mine complex in the world.
After stepping inside the entrance tunnel, the temperature drops noticeably. Even in summer, it’s cool — around 8°C (46°F). The air feels damp and clean, carrying a faint mineral scent.
The tunnels stretch for more than 60 kilometers, though only a portion is open to visitors. Soft lighting guides you through wide chambers and narrow corridors carved by hand over centuries.
What stands out immediately the white limestone walls glow under the lights, the scale of the caverns feels cathedral-like and the silence is deep and absorbing.
In some sections, you’ll see underground lakes reflecting the ceiling above. In others, you can spot old rail tracks once used to transport limestone. Information panels tell the story of miners who worked here from the Middle Ages until the 20th century.
Gubsø Garage
We will have lunch with Marc Vogel, the owner of the venue, a friend and fellow classic car enthusiast.
Marc managed to combine modern Scandinavian architecture with a deep passion for classic automobiles, creating a space that feels both refined and personal.
From the outside, the building is minimalist and elegant, surrounded by gently rolling countryside. Inside, it opens into a light-filled hall with our beloved cars.
The architecture is inspired in part by early 20th-century industrial design, reinterpreted through clean Nordic lines, natural materials, and expansive glass walls.
Domestic Restaurant
This Michelin Starred restaurant sets itself the challenge of using only Danish ingredients – hence the name – so expect lots of different techniques and imagination in their dishes.
DAY 3 - Tuesday 8 September
Stage 2, MOLS NATURAL PARK
(About 170 km , 3 hours and 30 min drive)
Our second day begins in one of Denmark’s most beautiful natural landscapes: Mols Bjerge National Park. Unlike the gentle lake scenery of Central Denmark, this area feels wilder and more dramatic. Rolling hills rise and fall toward the sea, shaped by the last Ice Age. The roads curve smoothly through open heathland, grazing horses, and sweeping coastal views.
We descend toward Ebeltoft, one of Denmark’s most charming coastal towns. Here we will visit the Fregatten Jylland and the Glasmuseet Ebeltoft.
From Ebeltoft, we drive inland to Møllerup Gods, a historic manor estate set within open countryside near the coast. Lunch here feels relaxed yet refined. The estate is known for its focus on local ingredients and sustainable farming.
In the afternoon we drive back to Aahrus and have dinner at the historical Raadhuus Kaffeen restaurant.
Fregatten Jylland
Fregatten Jylland is one of Denmark’s most impressive historic attractions and one of the longest surviving wooden warships in the world.
Launched in 1860, the frigate served during the Second Schleswig War and fought in the Battle of Heligoland in 1864. Today, fully restored, it stands not as a ruin but as a complete and living presence.
Unlike many preserved ships, Fregatten Jylland feels complete — not just a deck to walk across, but a full multi-level experience from keel to mast.
Glaskunst Museum
Glasmuseet Ebeltoft is one of Northern Europe’s leading museums dedicated to contemporary glass art.
the collection focuses on modern and contemporary glass from Denmark and around the world. Some works are delicate and almost weightless; others are bold, sculptural, and experimental. The museum highlights both traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques, showing how glass can move beyond function into pure artistic expression.
Raadhuus Kaffeen
Right in the heart of Aarhus is Raadhuus Kafeen – one of the city's oldest eateries.
The café opened its doors for the first time in 1924 by wine merchant Jens Jørgensen, nowadays offering local specialties.
DAY 4 - Wednesday 9 September
Stage 3, FROM JUTLAND TO FUNEN
(about 270 km, 5 hours drive)
Today we leave the calm lakes and rolling hills of Central Jutland behind and head east toward Funen Island.
On the way we stop for a visit and lunch at Koldinghus, a historic castle perched in the town of Kolding. Dating back to the 13th century, it has been a royal residence, fortress, and now a museum.
After Koldinghus, we resume the drive across bridges and winding island roads toward the coastal town of Kerteminde on Funen. The scenery becomes increasingly maritime: small harbors, and shimmering water.
Check in at the Great Northern hotel and dinner.
Koldinghus Castle
Perched on a hill overlooking the town of Kolding, Koldinghus Castle is a striking mix of history, architecture, and art.
Founded in the 13th century as a royal fortress, it has witnessed centuries of Danish history — from medieval wars to royal ceremonies — and today stands as both a museum and a symbol of resilience.
DAY 5 - Thursday 10 September
Stage 4,FUNEN ISLAND
(about 200 km, 4 hours drive)
The last day of our Danish road trip takes us deeper into the heart of Funen, the “Garden of Denmark".
Our first stop is a local producer renowned for creating some of Denmark’s finest smoked salmon.
We continue to Valdemars Castle, an elegant 17th-century estate located along the coast. The castle is still inhabited by the counts of Valdemarsgård, giving it a lived-in authenticity that contrasts with purely museum settings.
After Valdemars, we drive to Egeskov Castle, one of Europe’s best-preserved Renaissance water castles. Surrounded by moats, forests, and beautifully designed gardens, the castle is a perfect setting for lunch.
In the afternoon drive back to the hotel and farewell party!
Røgeri Hindsholm
Røgeri Hindsholm is widely regarded as one of Denmark’s finest smokehouses.
The smoking process follows classic Danish methods, using carefully selected wood to achieve a delicate balance: never overpowering, always refined. The salmon, in particular, is celebrated for its silky texture and clean, elegant flavor — subtly smoky, slightly sweet, and beautifully fresh.
Valdemars Slot
Valdemars Castle is one of Denmark’s most atmospheric aristocratic estates.
Built in the 17th century by King Christian IV for his son, the castle carries the elegance of the Danish Renaissance while maintaining the intimacy of a lived-in residence.
Valdemars Slot is the only privately owned Danish royal palace. Its owner, Louise Iuel-Brockdorff Albinus, represents the 11th generation of her family to steward it. By turning the palace into an art venue, she honours its legacy of patronage, presenting both historical and contemporary works: 18th-century portraits by Swedish painter Carl Gustaf Pilo and Danish master Jens Juel, originally created for the palace, are juxtaposed with newly commissioned pieces by international contemporary artists, making it a very unique art destination.
Egeskov Castle
The Egeskov Castle, built in the 1400s, was not just a castle but a journey through time. From its humble beginnings as an unfortified village manor, it was transformed into a highly fortified stronghold in 1554.
Today, it stands as a quintessential symbol of Renaissance architecture and reflects a rich history dating back over four centuries. This architectural masterpiece is not only renowned for its fascinating past but also for the enchanting allure that encompasses its gardens, exhibits, and outdoor museum. As one of Europe’s most well-preserved moated castles, Egeskov offers a captivating glimpse into the life and times of Danish nobility, making it an indispensable element of Denmark’s cultural and historical tapestry.

Package price: 9.500 Euro (7786 Euro + TAX) per car.
Deposit at subscription: 5.000 euro per car.
The price is per vehicle and based on two people sharing one hotel room.
The entry fee covers full hospitality, from the welcome reception on September 6th until departure on September 11th after breakfast. The entry fee also includes: welcome package, logistics, specialised technical support, doctor and professional photographers.
Our mechanical assistance will bring a refueling system. You can decide on spot if you would like to exploit this service; if so, your car will be refueled during the whole tour and fuel will be invoiced to you after the event at cunsumption.
